Part-Time Lumber Yard/Delivery Driver

As a Part-Time Lumber Yard/Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in our operations by assisting with the organization and maintenance of our lumber yard, as well as ensuring the safe and timely delivery of materials to our customers. **Key Responsibilities: **

- Assist with the loading and unloading of lumber and building materials at the yard.
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment in the lumber yard, ensuring materials are stored correctly.
- Deliver lumber and building materials to customer locations in a timely manner.
- Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Follow all safety protocols and operating procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in delivery driving; knowledge of local routes is a plus.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.) and engage in physical labor.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication.
- Basic knowledge of lumber and building materials.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
